Santos is a
beautiful city next to Guarujá with over 500 thousand inhabitants and most
famous for its sea port and of course for being the home of the Santos
Futebol Clube, the club of Pelé, the king of futebol (soccer). Santos, I was
told has the world longest beach side garden. Beautiful gardens, parks, a
bike track run along the entire bay. We drove along the marginal all the way
to São Vicente the second oldest city in Brazil and
were amazed with the manicured gardens, the cleanliness of the place and the
friendliness of the people. Filomena had her first real shopping spree of the
holidays and I had to buy a camera as my old one gave up the ghost. Too many
