Our trip to Norway started in Oslo
where our friend Sixten picked us up from the airport. We have not seen
Sixten for 19th years since we were together in Tasmania. We spent
some good times in Tasmania and we were looking forward to renew this old friendship.
We had a brief introduction to Oslo on the way to Halden where the
Paterson’s live. Rained all the way to Halden but our first impression
of Norway was ‘Green all over”. We think it is impossible to look
around in Norway and not see a pine forest or a wheat fields (at least in the
Halden area). We also spent a lovely day in Sweden fishing and relaxing on a
small island. In the next
chapters we will try do show you how much we enjoyed Norway. |
