Moreton Island is situated just a relaxing 75 minute cruise from Brisbane across Moreton
bay. Tangalooma is the native name given to the Wild Dolphin Resort. Hand
feeding Tangalooma’s pod of wild dolphins is by far the most popular
activity followed by diving on a series of wrecks sunken near the beach to
provide an artificial reef. The entire island is part of the Moreton
Island National Park and only four wheel drive is possible on the island
"roads".
Together with Erica, Bruno, Miguel and Daniela, Rosemary, Jorge and Ally and Mileta and Ron we spent four fantastic days on the island and the photos that follow are a sample of the fun we had. |
