The wedding took place at the Santo António de Nova Oeiras church on May 28th 1999, followed by the reception at Quinta das Lesmonas, Cascais. All the preparations and plans paid off and the wedding went on without major dramas. To ensure that the guests "behaved" in the proper manner the "Men in Black" were brought in directly from Hollywood as can be seen in the photo on the right. |

| The bride and groom where so excited with the car that they forgot that toll must be paid in the Portuguese highways. The lady at the toll gate was so moved by the embarrassment of the newly weds that she wished them happiness and let them go without paying. It was a relief for the guests that patiently ( and starving of course...) waited at the entrance of Quinta da Lesmonas for the bride and groom. | |
